The Beginning - Clearing the Lot

In September of 2021, we began clearing the lot of vines and brush that had grown over many years. Our goal was to save as many trees as possible.

Clearing allowed us to survey the lot and begin developing a plan. We always knew that we had bought almost 3 acres of land, but, after the undergrowth cleared it was clear that we had more space than we thought.

With tearing out thick vines, uprooting dead trees and burning the vegetation, it actually took a long time to get to the point where we could build a road to better access the property.
